Which is the most control oriented tennis racquet?
I tried out the Wilson K 6.1 90, and it was very control oriented but a little difficult to manuveur it. So far, I also tried out K Surge, Babolat Pure Drive Roddick +, K 6.1 95 (Why are the strings become easily bent around after a few hits?), and Head Microgel Extreme.
I might go demo the Roddick + and the K 6.1 90 again, but I need you to tell me of some other racquets that are control oriented.
Prince O3 Speedport Pro White. I have this racquet. Before, I was just spraying long balls everywhere. You can guarantee that this racquet is control oriented because of the 18x19 closed string pattern. It also has a nice weight (11.7 oz strung). It is also very maneuverable (especially on faster swings) because it is 5 pts. head light. I string this baby up with Gamma TNT Fat Core 16 at 58 lbs and it's a miracle. Even at mid tension it gives so much control. It has the power when you need it and the control is always present on every shot.
