Sports journalism – It can be for anyone
As the football season comes to an end and the summer transfer window opens, an air of optimism fills every football fan's head. The annual footballing cattle-market has far from disappointed in its early stages, with big money moves already taking place it promises to be a busy summer!
The red top tabloids are doing their usual best to link every rising star to every big club, and vice-versa, as fans eagerly read up and fantasise about who will be wearing their club's proud colours this coming season. As many millions of pounds looks to be spent, the relentless excitement can seem too much to handle, as mid August seems so far away!
Will Man United retain the title for a mile-stone 20th time? How will the likes of Aston Villa and Fulham get on under their new managers? Can Man City build on the progress they have made? And of course, who will beat the drop?
These are just some of the many questions on the loyal football fans lips, as they struggle to find other ways to occupy themselves over the summer.
Well, why don't you cure that boredom like I did and take a course in Sports Journalism! Have you ever been sat reading an article, be it online or in a magazine or newspaper, and just thought to yourself: "This reporter doesn't have a clue what they're on about!"
Let's be honest, everyone is an expert on the matter when it comes to the Monday after a busy weekend of footballing action. Well why don't you take advantage of the opportunities available and get paid to air your views?
You too could take a course in Sports Journalism, and within just a couple of months, get work doing something you love. Whether it be covering a local sporting event, writing your own sports blog, or eventually on something on a more international level – there is something out there for everyone! Whether you're a fan of football, rugby, tennis, golf or fishing – It simply doesn't matter!
So why don't you get involved, become a Sports Journalist like I did, take a career step in the right direction!

Determining How Much Sleep is Enough for You
Amongst the reasons it's so hard to give a definite suggestion as to how long one should sleep is because of the many different sorts of lifestyles that different people obviously live. To find out the kind which works best for you, simply take note of how you feel throughout the day while also noticing how long you slept. See if you can find an absolute pattern which does not leave you feeling tired or possibly drowsy throughout the day.
You might be impressed as to the health benefits which sleep has to offer. Think about how this may have positive effects on certain areas of your life; you may have enhanced focus, perhaps more optimism in general, and you may be in better health overall, for instance. Being deprived of sleep obviously not only does not feel good, but it can also make it more difficult for a person to focus, at least.
While five hours of sleep could be good for one person, seven hours can be good for another, for instance. Eating and drinking patterns possibly have an effect on the amount of sleep which would be good for an individual, along with the kind of physical activity he or she may partake in regularly. One who works out hard and often may be likely to be more sure to get quality sleep than someone who does not. One of the things a person might want to do is find an activity such as a sport which involves significant physical activity and see if he or she would possibly have enough motivation to persist with it for pretty much of a lifetime. There are obviously many to choose from. Some you might want to consider are volleyball, swimming (however much you'd so please), riding a bicycle and tennis, amongst things. You might not find these in particular to be not as physically straining perhaps in a displeasing way as other sports or games may seem.
If you drink coffee regularly, surely choose not to drink it soon before going to bed. Also, try to make sure you have balanced eating patterns; this can help ensure greater quality of sleep. Better quality of sleep may even decrease the amount of sleep one ought to have! If it helps at all, dreams just might end up becoming something for you to look forward to. Dreams are pretty much a mystery, but you might find it interesting to keep a dream journal and try to interpret possibly meanings.
