What Fulham Has To Offer
Fulham is found between Putney and Chelsea and is one of the greenest suburbs in the English capital. Perhaps best known for its football team – which plays at Craven Cottage – it is also known for as a high quality shopping centre and for its 'chic status'.
As well as the football stadium, Fulham is the home to high-end shops and boutiques, the Hurlingham Exclusive Sports Club and Fulham Palace.
Fulham FC is often overlooked as a London football club because of the success of its glamorous neighbours such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and West Ham. However, in the 2009/10 season Fulham got to the UEFA Cup Final and outdid many pundit predictions. The club continues to attract huge crowds to its home games at Craven Cottage.
The Hurlingham Club is a centre of high prestige for sports in London, specialising in tennis. It is recognised by many because of the large, classically styled house and is used by many players to warm up before Wimbledon each year. It isn't much of a tourist attraction, but for tennis fans it's a great place to grab autographs and watch some of the world's best players before the big tournament.
There are records going back as far as 700AD for the land that Fulham Palace is built on. At this time the ownership was transferred to the Bishop of Waldhere and the land was subsequently passed on to bishop after bishop until 1973. The palace originally owned 30 acres of land but this has been trimmed back to 12 acres by aspiring homebuilders.
Visitors to the palace are regularly amazed by the plants dotted around and much of this is thanks to Bishop Compton who, in the 17th century, imported many new species to the area, including the magnolia. Many of the trees at the palace remain from this time while others have been brought in more recently to complement Bishop Compton's introductions. Another major attraction for visitors is the palace's moat which is the longest in England.
Excavations on the site have found remains of other large scale buildings on the site as well as evidence of Roman settlers. A museum in the palace tells a lot of the area's history and has many of the paintings that have been on display in the building over the years.
Although it's unlikely that people moving to London will move into Fulham Palace, Fulham estate agents will be able to find a suitable property nearby.

Tennis $10.39 Success continued to elude Chris Rea on his third album, Tennis, on which he began to experiment with slightly longer songs and more free-form jamming, the songs "Every Time I See You Smile," "Stick It," and the title track all being over five minutes long. For Tennis, he enlisted the assistance of Raphael Ravenscroft on saxophone fresh from his crowning moment on the Gerry Rafferty "Baker Street" single and Pete Wingfield on keyboards, among many other musicians to contribute to this album, but Chris Rea himself stamped his personal mark on the album, writing all the songs, providing vocals, guitar, and keyboards, and he even dispensed with the need for an outside producer. Hence the Elton John feel of his Gus Dudgeon-produced previous album, Deltics was gone, aside from on the ballad "Every Time I See You Smile," and it was replaced by a variety of styles including the horn-driven "Forever and Ever," the gospel song "Stick It" that closed the album, and the reggae-tinged, guitar-led instrumental "Friends Across the Water." The title track and album opener began with a riff that was reminiscent of Ace's "How Long," and the song structure itself was not dissimilar to 10cc's "Dreadlock Holiday" although far less commercial with its chorus repeating "Do you like tennis?....yes I do." The intro of "Sweet Kiss" was a brooding bassline and Rea used this style to build many of the tracks from a quiet start to a soulful crescendo. Several of the songs on Tennis had excellent melodies including "Since I Don't See You Anymore," "Dancing Girls," and the final track "Stick It" which, had it been recorded by Billy Joel at this time, would no doubt have been a hit. With hindsight, knowing how big Chris Rea became, it was amazing that this album failed to find its niche in the very early '80s and climbed no higher than number 60 in the charts, although there were no killer commercial singles on it, indeed no hit singles at all, and albums appeared to need this prerequisite at that time. A few years earlier during the era of prog rock, singles were totally superfluous to a rock album's degree of success. Hey I'm Back! I missed Wimbledon Final

Hey guys I'm back from my Alaskan cruise! It was fun, I saw some glaciers and seals and did some partying on the cruise too lol, but it was hot! It was 88 degrees in Juneau, what's up with that?
While I was gone they made me a TC in tennis! That was cool so a shout out thanks to Yahoo for that.
So did you guys miss me while I was away? 
I'm bummed though because I missed the Wimbledon Final! I was following the score line and I was obviously ecstatic at the result. As you can see I have updated my name here on Yahoo Answers. So how was the final, was it as epic as the score makes it sound? was it better than the Nadal-Federer final of 2008?
Let me know your thoughts on any of the above things. Thanks! Also, what else has been going on in the world of tennis? I need to catch up.
The match was great and Roddick played some of his best tennis. However, he lost the second set tiebreak when he was 5-2 up! Disappointing. As the third set progressed there weren't as many rallies but short, cheap points coming from their serves. In my opinion, last years final was better. A French player died unexpectantly at a young age. A young, talented girl at the age of four has recieved pro coach ( seems to have uncanny hand eye coordination for her age).
Davis cup has started.
