How To Look Like A Prince On Your Wedding Day With Grooms Sherwanis
We all are aware of a very well known proverb that ‘Marriages are made in Heaven’. It is an opportunity of a lifetime, an opulent extravaganza. In earlier times, only the kings and the rich landed gentry had the ability to afford a ‘big fat Indian Wedding’. But nowadays, a glamorous wedding ceremony is highly affordable, thanks to the wedding planners for their cost management tactics. Since, it is a cause to celebrate, most of the parents give their nod to marry off their daughters and sons like a prince or princess. Such a fairytale wedding involves attire and decorations fit for a prince and princess. If clothes are what make a man, then the wedding attire is the most important thing in a boy’s life on his special day. Even if the attire is kept strictly traditional, following certain tips can guide you how to look like a prince on your wedding day with Grooms Sherwanis.
It is easy for a girl to look pretty and beautiful on her wedding day. It is tough for the boy to look different. However, thanks to the various fashion designers in the country, Indian grooms now have a reason to smile. They too can carve out a niche on their wedding day with gorgeous Indian wears among which ‘Sherwanis’ always top the list. A native of Uttar Pradesh, Sherwanis has now successfully entered the mainstream of Indian men’s wear. More than half of the grooms prefer to wear Sherwanis either on their wedding day or on the day of the reception. This is because they are comfortable, well fit, easy to carry, and make a great style statement. It makes the groom look smart, handsome, confident and feel like a prince.
Many people have a wrong notion that Sherwanis are somewhat like kurta pyjamas or a pathani suit, which is yet another traditional Indian wear for men. On the contrary, it can be said that a Sherwani can be worn over a kurta. Sherwanis can be of different types but the Indian wedding Sherwani is somewhat different. Also known as achkans, they are highly embroidered and are made of costly fabrics. Colors vary from pastel shades to lighter tones while some come in very bright hues like sky blue, maroon, mauve etc. The price varies with the amount of work done on a sherwani. The presence of rich embroidered threads and zari work makes the price range go high but then it’s worth a buy for an occasion like wedding.
The groom can wear the sherwani along with a churidar and team it up with a pair of mojaris for the feet. As far as preference is concerned, the groom can either go for a round necked sherwani with heavy zardosi work all over the body for a glam feel or a straight cut, Nehru coat type sherwani with minimal stitch work but cut out of silk or poly silk fabric for a shiny look. To complete the look, he can take a crushed stole draped around his neck or simply a well pleated one on one side of his shoulder. A turban wrapped in a fashionable way can add more glitz to the entire look. Often, a stylish kamarbandh compliments a sherwani. Even if sherwanis are available in long and short sizes, the long sherwanis are the common picks of the grooms. Other grooms’ accessories that go well with a sherwani include cufflinks, chained buttons, etc.
While the chic tuxedos and men’s suits make the best attire for a reception, the traditional Sherwanis are the crowned jewels of the trendy indo western line of men’s clothes from India. Try this out and you are all set to look like a prince on your D Day.

tennis training shoes ?
i am joining a new tennis club in september my 1st session is at the begging of september and i have been told i need some tennis training shoes so tennis trainers can you send me some links to some womens tennis trainers... many thanks

Fila Vintage Terrinda - The Ultimate Tracksuit
Fila vintage Terrinda tracksuits have been the revival tracksuit of 2010.
Back in the late 70s early 80s Fila Settanta Tracksuit Jackets were a big deal for many. An individual Fila style launched with their Tennis superstar Bjorn Borg, his Settanta Mk1 Track was an immediate must own track top for a sports fashion elite.
In 1981 Borg was given a make over with his Final tracksuit the Fila Settanta mk3, known as the Fila Terrinda. Aimed at the fashion conscious the Fila Terrinda was made of high-end fabric giving the jacket it instantly recognisable look, fantastic finish and irresistible touch. The clean design and style of the jacket complete with white piping and shoulder padding and finished with the legendary collars completed the timeless look of this iconic collector's jacket.
In 2008 Fila Vintage were looking to relaunch the classic jacket under the Fila Vintage brand. Rumours began circulating that they were unable to find a suitable fabric that lived up to the quality of the original 80s jackets. This in turn pushed up demand in the collectors market and some ebay listed original jackets were seen to fetch up to £1200!
In 2009 on the eve of the release of 80s casuals film, The Firm full of 80s originals including a key place for the Fila Vintage Terrinda, Fila announced they had sourced a fabric to launch the release of their new Fila vintage terrinda.
A Fila Vintage Red Terrinda worn by lead character Bex was available at only at one stockist, 80s Casual Classics, at £100 for the Tracksuit Top and £150 for the Full Tracksuit. Along with the Red the Terrinda was available in Navy, French Blue, White, Silver Grey and Lemon. In 2009 the relaunch included two new never seen before colours, Black and Green.
One thing is for sure. The Fila Vintage Terrinda is a legendary Track Top with an incredible history.
